Toronto’s Hub for Barista & Café Training

The Institute features a team of expert barista trainers, business consultants, and competition-level judges who provide comprehensive training in espresso, latte art, and business education for those looking to start their own coffee business.

Our courses are open to coffee enthusiasts of all levels — whether you're a beginner or an experienced pro. We post class schedules in advance and kindly request that payments be made through the website prior to attending. Space is limited, so we recommend registering early to secure your spot.

🚗 Parking

There is paid street-side parking on the south side of Geary Avenue. You’ll need the Green P app to park here.

Looking for free parking? You may find street-side spots on Salem Avenue North or Westmoreland Avenue North just half a block west and east of the Lab. It’s on a first-come, first-served basis, so arrive early if you can.

🍽️ Food for Class

You don’t need your usual coffee before class — you’ll have plenty of opportunities to make some during your session! We recommend bringing water, snacks, and a packed lunch so you don’t lose time waiting at nearby restaurants.
