About the Davenport Lab

The Institute features a team of expert barista trainers, business consultants, and competition-level judges who provide comprehensive training in espresso, latte art, as well as business education for those looking to start their own coffee business.

Our courses are open to coffee enthusiasts of all levels, whether you're a beginner or an experienced pro. We post class schedules in advance and kindly request that payments are made through the website prior to attending the class. Space is limited, so we highly recommend registering as soon as possible to secure your spot.

Parking: 

There is paid street side parking on the south side of Geary avenue. You will need to download the Green P app to be able to park here.

If you're looking for free parking near our lab, you'll find some street-side parking options on Salem Avenue North. This convenient parking area is situated just half a block west of our location. It's a first-come, first-serve situation, so it's a good idea to arrive early to secure a spot. This parking option allows for a short and easy walk to the lab, making it a practical choice for those driving to our site. However, please note that availability can vary, so plan ahead to ensure you find a space.

Food for Class:

You don't need your daily coffee before class unless you can't function without it; you'll have plenty of chances to make coffee during the session. We suggest bringing snacks and drinks for your comfort. For lunch, bring a packed lunch to avoid losing time in busy restaurants.
